A room full of lawyers and business executives gathered in Paris to discuss protectionism in Brazil. Heavy weights companies like EDF, SAFRAN and Credit Agricole among others, brought their experience in day-to-day issues.
Guillaume de FORCEVILLE, new markets director of EDF, said it was not difficult to find qualified workers in the energy sector. His problem was to retain his workforce in times when demand is high. EDF also is encountering problems to find engeniers that may cost 60 k euros / year of salary 120 k euros. Top management cost is very high. A CFO in Brazil can easily get over 100 thousand reais per month, plus around 50% of bonus.
