This poor Frenchman, divided between Paris and Rio de Janeiro wishes to share an event… Voilá a Brazilian Festival Made in Paris!
From 13 to 19 June 2011, the association “Autres Brésils” presents the 7th edition of the
‘Brésil en mouvements” (Brazil in Movement), the main event dedicated to Brazilian social documentary in Europe.
The festival is characterized by seven days of screenings, discussions and meetings about documentary films to strengthen ties between France and Brazil.
What is on the agenda:
•14 juin : Changement climatique : défis et alternatives (Climat change: challenges and alternatives)
• 15 juin : Indiens et medias (Indiens and media)
• 16 juin : Travail et société (Travel and society)
• 17 juin : Pour une autre mondialisation : hommage à Milton Santos (For a differente globalization: in honor of Milton Santos)
• 18 juin : Cultures locales : regards croisés autour du Court Brésil : laboratoire social ? (Local cultures: crossed perspectives around ..(?) Brazil: a social laboratory)
• 19 juin : Economie sociale et initiatives locales. (Social economy and local initiatives)
The goal of the festival is to promote the debate around crucial social and environmental issues in Brazil.
