
Brasilia – The German President, Christian Wulff, said on Thursday that his country is interested in working in project for the World Cup in 2014 and for the Olympic Games of Rio 2016. Wulff also remarked that currently more than 1200 German companies operate in Brazil, which proves the strong bilateral ties between the two countries.
“We want to participate” in the construction of stadiums and other infrastructure that Brazil needs to develop these two major sporting events, said Wulff.
According to the president of Germany, Brazil is a country in which it is worth investing. ”
President Dilma suggested that Germany could bid for a high-speed train that the Government intends to build between the cities of Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo as well as investment in ports and airports, the World Cup, Olympic Games.
