Brazilian mission in Dubai

Approximately 200 trading and exporting companies from Brazil will be in Dubai this week  from May 9th to 11th, in a business mission organized by Apex, the Brazilian Export and Investment Promotion Agency.

Buyers and distributors from the Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Lebanon, Bahrain and Jordan will meet small and medium Brazilian enterprises from the food and beverage, construction, furniture and decoration, and auto parts industries.

In addition to the business roundtables, the Arabs are going to watch presentations about the Brazilian economy.
According to Apex, from 2001 to 2009 the flow of trade between Brazil and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries leaped from US$ 2.4 billion to US$ 6.3 billion. Last year, Brazilian exports to the economic bloc totalled US$ 4.6 billion. On the other hand, imports totalled US$ 1.7 billion.
