Here in United States, I am working on a private equity project involving SmartGRID. My clients want to know whether Brazil has “world class security”? For example, can Brazilian police use video evidence? In the 2009-2012 English preparation for the Olympics, The British implemented more widespread video evidence use. Can Brazilian UPP cops in Rio upload video evidence from their uniform or vehicle cameras to the “cloud” (internet) in a form that can be accessed globally? (by intelligence services, police, etc outside and inside Brazil). Maybe I should contact some Military Police or Prosecutors because it does look like Brazilian community policing (UPP) has helped, for example an area like Tijuca where Maracana stadium is… or Leblon, on the geography leading to Barra Tijuca with so many Olympic events… If anyone has any contacts, please send to janarwasito@alumni.stanford.edu
