Brazil Global hosts an international collaboration of thinkers interested in Emerging Countries in general, and Brazil in particular. We debate economy and finance, but also the cultural aspects of doing business and living overseas.

Hildete de Moraes Vodopives is founder of Brazil Global and of the Harvard Strategists Bureau. She  works with companies and government investment agencies doing business in Brazil. At the Sorbonne University, Hildete conducts a PhD research on the internationalization of Brazilian companies. She lives between Europe and Brazil and is a member of the Harvard Club of Paris and of the Mercosur Women’s Forum.

Ricardo Geromel writes for Forbes: blogs.forbes.com/ricardogeromel. Born and raised in São Paulo, he speaks five languages and has launched his own company in China, worked as project manager for Bolloré Group in Guinea Conakry and as agricultural commodities trader for Noble Group in Switzerland, Hong Kong, Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay and Brazil.

Charles Rassaert is a PhD candidate at Sorbonne University and blogger for Torre di Babel.  He defines himself like this: “I am a traveler, and I love to travel either alone or for business. My experiences have made me even more curious about cultures different of my own. I love to photograph people capturing special and natural moments. My travels inspire me. One day I hope to become a photo reporter, journalist.”

Edson Warren Soares is partner of War Consulting, a marketing specialist firm with focus in direct communications. He acted as creative director for major advertising agencies, such as Ogilvy and Draftwordwide in Brazil. He researches new trends and marketing strategies, while passioned about art and communication technology. Edson is member of the Brazilian Direct Marketing Association (Abemd) where he integrates the annual prize jury.

Giulia Galeano is an Italian conference interpreter, interested in almost everything and proud of her curious attitude, has some localization experience and multinational business knowledge. You can speak to her in Italian, French, English, Spanish and Portuguese.
